Mikyoung Kim, MLA ’92, recently completed the Crown Sky Garden in the new Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The Garden incorporates light, sound, water, wood elements and bamboo planters to create a space for both active participation and quiet reprieve. Here you can see a video of the translucent interactive light wall that weaves through the garden at varied heights and changes brightness and color as people move towards it.
