GSD students win Radcliffe competition

Keojin Jin and Juhun Lee (both MDesS ‘14) are the winners of the 1st Radcliff Public Art Competition for their design Saturate the Moment, selected from among 80 submissions by graduate and undergraduate students from diverse fields at Harvard. The competition was created to highlight the potential of public art and the visual arts in general to contribute to intellectual conversations at the University and beyond. It provides students with a unique opportunity to design and build a site-specific installation for prominent display in Radcliffe Yard.

The winning entry was selected for boldness, creativity and construction and budget feasibility by a jury of distinguished faculty from Radcliffe Institute, FAS and GSD. The prize includes an honorarium, a construction budget and the unique opportunity to oversee construction of an outdoor installation that will remain on view from September 2013 to June 2014.
