Irene Toselli (MLA 12) thesis awarded silver medal in International Prize for Sustainable Architecture

Recent GSD graduate Irene Toselli (MLA ’12) will fly to Ferrara, Italy in June to participate in an award ceremony which will honor her 2012 thesis with the silver medal prize for sustainable architecture.

Toselli, who graduated with distinction from the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the GSD, completed her thesis with the support of advisor Anita Berrizbeitia, Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of the Master in Landscape Architecture Degree Programs.

This marks the 10th edition of the competition, which is organized by the University of Ferrara and is sponsored by Fassa Bortolo company. The competition, though focusing mainly on architecture, opens its thesis section to landscape architecture and urban design.
