Hyde and Eigen’s Aggregate Architectural History Collaborative launches new web platform

The Aggregate Architectural History Collaborative has launched a new digital platform at http://www.we-aggregate.org/. This new web platform aims to promote innovative research methodologies and techniques in architectural history and theory, particularly emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches, and to be a public forum for discussion of research in architectural history and theory.

Since 2006, Aggregate has generated and work-shopped research by its board of directors, which includes GSD professors Ed Eigen and Timothy Hyde. In 2012, Aggregate published the volume Governing by Design. The new website marks a shift in focus for the group, which will be opening Aggregate’s workshops and its process of transparent peer review to colleagues and contributors across the field of architectural history and theory.
