Preston Scott Cohens Datong Library noted as one of ten significant projects to be completed in 2014

Azure Magazine lists Professor Preston Scott Cohen’s Datong Library as one of ten significant projects to watch for in 2014. The library, under construction in Shanxi Province, China, follows the success of Cohen’s Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2011) and his just completed Taiyuan Museum of Art (2013) which was featured in Mark Magazine’s November 2013 issue and in D+A Singapore.

Professor Cohen is the Gerald M. McCue Professor in Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and is the founder and principal of Preston Scott Cohen, Inc. of Cambridge, MA. In addition to the aforementioned, recent projects include the Cape Rep Theater, Brewster, MA (2013-15) and the Goldman Sachs Canopy, with Pei Cobb Freed Associates, in New York, NY (2008).  View Azure Magazine’s full coverage of projects to watch in 2014.
