Description:
This course is for non-native speakers of English who want to work on specific skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in a flexible small-group setting.  It is based entirely on the questions and needs of the 4 to 8 students in the group.  Students will give many quick informal talks on specific topics and close attention will be paid to their grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. We will work through short grammar exercises, look at each other’s draft papers and emails for errors, watch videos of lectures together, use tongue twisters, etc.—whatever works to help people improve their skills.  We will make a list of resources, practices, and tips for continuing to develop those skills.
Because this is a small course, the meeting times can be adjusted to meet students\’ needs.
