GreeceGSD Lecture: Yannis Patronis, “Architectural Competition as an Educational Tool”

GreeceGSD is excited to host fellow students from  the University of Patras | Department of Architecture. Yannis Patronis (MAUD’75), Professor Emeritus of Architectural and Urban Design at Patras School of Architecture will present a number of awarded student projects in International and National competitions. We invite the GSD students to join us for the event in order to get in touch with the students coming from Greece. We believe that this is a good opportunity to experience the way that the Architecture Discipline is deployed in the academic environment of Greece. Professor Yannis Patronis will be presenting the methodologies for participation into International and National Design Competitions, and will unfold the entire process of setting up a competition: forming of teams, collaboration methodology, analysis, synthesis and presentation of entries.
