Writing Cities 2012

Writing Cities is an annual graduate student conference jointly organized by the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Harvard Law School, MIT’s School of Architecture + Planning, and the London School of Economics. For 2012, the conference will be held in Cambridge, co-hosted by the GSD and MIT. This kickoff event will take the form of a panel discussion on the annual theme of “limits”, contextualized in relation to broader issues in the general topic of urbanism, research and writing. Participants in the panel are faculty drawn from each of the schools, and include Richard Sennett (LSE/NYU), Fran Tonkiss (LSE), Michael Hooper (GSD), Lawrence Vale (MIT), Gerald Frug (HLS), Mark Jarzombek (MIT), Rahul Mehrotra (GSD), and Hashim Sarkis (GSD).
This event is free and open to the public.
