In the inaugural year of off-campus J-Term externships, students expanded their experience in non-profit research, public arts design, and architecture and landscape practice between the fall and spring semesters. Students were paired with alumni for a two-week mentorship to broaden their disciplinary outreach and develop specific skill sets.
The library received one of only two AIA/NC Honor Awards within the state.
