Harvard GSD and HKS, and MIT are jointly offering this course
This course will begin on Monday, January 31st. The course will meet online the first week of classes and then held in person starting on February 7th. See Canvas site for updates on instructional format.
MIT students will need to follow specific instructions for access to GSD Gund Hall and the course canvas site. See below for details.
Registration processes vary by school.
- HKS students will enroll in the HKS iteration of the course, SUP-688, via standard HKS registration procedures.
- GSD and all other Harvard students will enroll in the GSD iteration of the course, GSD SES-5397.
- MIT students must obtain permission to enroll in 11.S944 and should have access to the Harvard Canvas site prior to the first course meeting on Monday, January 31st. MIT students interested in taking the course must email Patti Foley ([email protected]) with their Harvard HUID or HarvardKey, as well as the associated email address, no later than Wednesday, January 26th. MIT students need to have an HUID or set up a HarvardKey in order to access the Harvard Canvas site. Pranav Thole, Teaching Assistant, will give these prospective students access to the site. MIT students will enroll in the MIT iteration of the course once MIT enrollment opens.
When the class begins to meet on person on February 7, visitors to Gund Hall who do not have a Harvard ID card, which includes MIT students who are not formally enrolled in any Harvard courses for the spring 2022 semester, will be required to check in at Gund Hall’s Quincy Street entrance. A security guard will review proof of vaccination AND negative COVID-19 test result from the previous 48 hours (PCR or rapid antigen test, including home tests), along with a photo identification. Visitors also will need to complete and submit a wellness form attesting that they are symptom-free and have not been diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days. This form must be completed prior to every visit. See GSD website for updated information on GSD access.
