Preston Scott Cohen (professor of architecture) will join other notable design figures selected to present 10 exemplary buildings of the last decade at a symposium September 21 at MoMA. The daylong event In Pursuit of Architecture, which marks the 10th anniversary and 29th issue of the journal Log, will engage architects and critics for a discussion of architectural ideas, what it takes to build them, and how we measure the cultural value of architecture.
In his presentation of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art in Israel, Cohen will discuss how geometry was used to synthesize art and architecture. His essay and the others at the conference will be published in Log‘s 10th anniversary issue.
