Associate professor Pierre Bélanger to author upcoming Pamphlet Architecture

It was announced recently that associate professor of landscape architecture, Pierre Bélanger, was awarded the prize for the next edition of the Pamphlet Architecture series (Going Live, from Models to Systems) to be published by Princeton Architectural Press in 2015. The competition drew an overwhelming response from around the globe, with jury members including Steven Holl, Kevin Lippert, Paul Lewis, Charles Waldheim, and Marion Weiss. Honorable mentions were also awarded to Harvard Graduate School of Design faculty including Silvia Benedito, assistant professor of landscape architecture, and Sergio Lopez Pineiro, 2014 Daniel Urban Kiley Fellow and lecturer in landscape architecture. Luis Callejas, lecturer in architecture and landscape architecture, also recently published his Islands and Atolls in the series.

Launched in 1977 by William Stout and Steven Holl, the Pamphlet Architecture series has grown to become a preeminent venue to promote and foster the works and thoughts of a younger generation of designers. As “small manifestos for tomorrow,” Pamphlet Architecture presents and disseminates new and innovative theories for the future of the designed and built world. With support from the National Endowment for the Arts, Pamphlet Architecture engages important issues facing architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design today in a way that is as visually provocative as it is intellectually compelling.
