Jon Lott named one of Architectural League’s 2016 Emerging Voices

Jonathan LottJon Lott (MArch ’05), design critic in architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, is one of the Architectural League of New York’s 2016 Emerging Voices, announced on February 3. Being named an Emerging Voice by the Architectural League is one of the most coveted awards in North American architecture.

In addition to his pedagogy at the GSD, Lott is principal at PARA Project and cofounding member, with William O’Brien Jr. (MArch ’05) and Michael Kubo (MArch ’06), of Collective-LOK.

Two other GSD alumni were chosen by the Architectural League as 2016 Emerging Voices as well: Alex Anmahian (MArch ’90) and Nick Winton (MArch ’90), principals and cofounders of Cambridge-based Anmahian Winton Architects.

The 2016 Emerging Voices will present lectures this March and April at The Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Center for Thought and Culture in New York City, with Lott on Tuesday, March 22, and Anmahian and Winton on Tuesday, April 12.
