A reference of the different setup types available to spaces booked in S.E.R.T. Keep in mind that not all setup types are available to all spaces.

Multipurpose and Fixed Spaces

There are two main kinds of space at the GSD: multipurpose and fixed classrooms.

Multipurpose spaces are typically empty spaces that allow for flexible configurations. These rooms will offer several setup types in SERT, like those listed below. Many of Gund Hall’s lobby-level spaces are multipurpose rooms.

Fixed classrooms are spaces with pre-set furniture that remain the same year-round. These classrooms will only offer the setup type “As-is.” However, you can still request some resources, like Zoom carts or whiteboards, to fixed classrooms. Fixed classrooms include spaces like 111, 124, and the 5th floor classrooms.
