Esther Weathers

Esther Chong Weathers (she/her) serves as the Associate Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Esther joined the inaugural Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging as part of the Harvard Administrative Fellows Program (AFP). In her role, she is responsible for developing strategies and programming to increase diversity, deepen inclusion, and advance a sense of belonging for all GSD stakeholders.

A higher education specialist, Esther has dedicated her career to directly addressing the barriers faced by historically marginalized communities through her work in college admissions and higher education administration. She holds a Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on social change leadership, educational inequality, and intentional inclusion.
