Lindsay Woodson

Lindsay Woodson, AICP is an urban planner with particular expertise in environmental and climate resilience planning. As a Cleveland Ohio native, a natural trajectory guided her affinity towards working with vulnerable populations in waterfront communities. Her work focuses on analyzing geospatial data, assessing emerging environmental policy, and developing stakeholder-informed resiliency strategies. Her previous work in New York City and the Philippines focused on examining the necessary community partnerships and governance structures that support and sustain resilience.

She is currently a part-time Resiliency Specialist with Weston & Sampson, where she works with an interdisciplinary team at the nexus of resilience engineering, design, and policy. She is also Program Manager with the  Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard Kennedy School. There, she works on government innovation and city leadership. She has spent time in city and federal government supporting her belief that designers should have a seat at the policy table.

Woodson completed a dual degree, Master in Design Studies in Risk & Resilience and Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Geography from Syracuse University, School of Architecture.
